IPRC-North to open next year

Construction of IPRC-North, a China-aided project of about $11 million is progressing well in Barizo village of Musanze district to meet the expected completion in June 2014.

This technical school is being constructed on a total field area of 4.8 hectares with entire building of 8700 square meters, with a capacity to cater for about 1,100 students.

A team of Chinese construction engineers with their supervisors is engaged in the construction.

Contemporary structures on this site are designed to offer trainings in construction and building services (plumbing & welding), Agriculture and food processing( Argo-business especially in bamboo, meat & fruit processing), ICT & Electronics.

 Integrated Polytechnic Regional Centers (IPRCs) are meant to act as WDA base for implementation of TVET programmes, supervision and coordination of TVET institutions in all provinces and Kigali City.
