This comes after the same school emerged the best exhibitor of the second Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) expo held in November 2012.
Among other activities, IPRC West exhibited a technology of using a mobile a cell phone system to open a gate and turn on/off lights which attracted many visitors to their exhibition stand.
The guest of honor at this event was Ambassador Fatuma Ndangiza accompanied by the Mayor of Karongi district Bernard Kayumba.
Karongi Expo was also characterized by the award of certificates to local leaders of Bwishyura sectors (Where IPRC west is located) who were trained in computer skills through collaboration with DOT Rwanda and district authorities.
Like it was in the 2012 TVET Expo, many people have shown great interest in these new technologies applied by IPRC West.
